The Rubbish Monster was nominated for AnimationXchange's best of the best. A herd of film and animation professionals was sitting pretty in the Bay Hotel's biggest venue "yakking" about the animation. It's the end of the Imbizo, a 3-day production festival hosted by Cape Film Commission.

The point of this year's Imbizo was to recognize excellent production standards in film and television and to focus on animation and new media as economically budding industries in the Western Province.
