Wicked Pixels was asked by 3-Points Advertising in Saudi Arabia to produce a series of four commercials for Rabea Tea. The concept was to recreate signature goal-scoring moves of soccer legends that would magically form out of the steam from cups of tea.The only way we could accurately recreate their movement was to use a motion capture rig but this wasn't itout difficulties.

During motion capture we realized that we didn't have enough studio space to capture the movements (kicking, running and sliding) in one take so we ended up writing a little script to stitchthe separate actions together.The steam was created out of nearly 1.3 million particles using a number of different 3D animation packages.
